Tribes developer Hi-Rez Studio is celebrating the series 20th anniversary by giving away free games.PC users can go to the Tribes official website and download any of the games in the Tribes series, including Earthsiege, Starsiege: Tribes, Tribes 2, or even the most recent 2012 free-to-play Tribes Ascend.The original EarthSiege, released in 1994, and its sequel focused on mech combat. Starsiege: Tribes released in 1998 and was the first in a series of competitive first-person shooters in which players could jet-pack around large maps in light, medium, or heavy armor and the appropriate weapons to accompany the armor.
